Objective
The aim of this program is to promote the enrichment and growth of research and teaching at NPUE by inviting scholars from overseas academic research institutions for short term fellowships, whereby they can discuss research, exchange opinions and hold lectures together with NPUE faculty members for undergraduate and graduate students at NPUE.

Note:Payment for the recruitment term is calculated as follows: (1) for fourteen days or less, payment made is for the number of days worked; (2) for more than fourteen days, payment made is the amount noted above for a whole month of work (30 days minimum), or by multiplying the number of extra days worked (i.e. 15-29) by 1/30 of the monthly salary. For example, payment for an associate professor who works 16 days would be NT$45,00x14 days+ (NT$90,000 x 1/30 x (16-14) days). |
Extra requirement
Visiting scholars are required to give a minimum of either: 1) two seminars; 2) two speeches; or 3) one seminar and one speech related to the program with no additional remuneration.
